Many Immediate Remedies For Heartburn And
Acid Reflux Found In Kitchen
It seems as though for every possible cause of
heartburn there is a suggested cure to help stop the pain and
nausea. However, many of the immediate remedies for heartburn
and acid reflux can be found in the kitchen. When looking for
quick acting relief it is important to remember the cause of
the discomfort and once it is understood that an excess of
stomach acid is making its way into the esophagus, it is easy
to consider immediate remedies for heartburn and acid
reflux.
The one thing needed is to neutralize the acid
in the stomach, which will reduce its potency even if it
manages to reach the tender inner lining of the esophagus.
While some people preach to eat plain soda crackers others
swear by immediate remedies for heartburn and acid reflux that
include mixing baking soda or even vinegar with water and
drinking it down.

In instances of lighter acid indigestion, plain
water can be enough to dilute the acid and help put out the
fire in the chest from heartburn while another of the favorite
immediate remedies for heartburn and acid reflux is chewing
gum. By using gum, the saliva glands kick into overtime and
when swallowed, the extra saliva helps to water down the
stomach acid.
Daily Medication Does Not Offer Instant
Help
Many of the newer products on the market that
inhibit acid production neither are nor meant to be immediate
remedies for heartburn and acid reflux. These products work by
slowing the production of stomach acid and by closing off some
of the proton pumps that push it into the stomach. While they
can offer long-term relief of heartburn that cannot offer any
immediate help for indigestion.
There are also numerous products on the market
offered as immediate remedies for heartburn and acid reflux
that can quickly neutralize excess acid and provide quick
relief. However, continued use of these products may result in
other problems if the food does not receive enough acid to aid
in proper digestion. Some of them may also cause excess gas and
bloating and must be used with caution if the person is also on
other prescription medications.
Persons suffering from chronic heartburn should
speak to their physician about the frequent need for immediate
remedies for heartburn and acid reflux. Heartburn may be a
symptom of a different, more serious health problem that
requires attention and if left unattended may create additional
problems such as lower esophagus ulcers.
Preventing Heartburn Is Best Method For Relief
Even without the accompanying chest pain typically
associated with excess stomach acid, acid reflux without
heartburn can still cause damage to the esophagus and the open
the sufferer to potential problems. Simply not feeling the pain
in the chest does not mean the acid is not causing damage to
the lining of the esophagus and a chronic cough or continued
need to clear the throat may be signs that the throat tissues
is being damaged.
If the person finds that certain foods tend to make these
symptoms worse, or more frequent, they would be better served
to avoid them, or at least talk to the doctor about products
that can help reduce the amount of stomach acid that can cause
acid reflux without heartburn. Often times, a change in diet is
all it takes to eliminate acid indigestion.
If eliminating possible causes of acid reflux without
heartburn does not seem to cure a cough or irritated throat,
check with the doctor on other possible causes is recommended.
Chronic throat irritation can also be a symptom of other
medical conditions and will need to be checked out
professionally.

Stop Acid Reflux Now is written by
Kathryn Whittaker. This is another good
e-book on curing your acid relfux or heartburn naturally. This
e-book has slighly more of an educational style to it. This is
either good or bad depending on how you want to look at it.
Overall this is a good e-book, but not my favourit. I give it a
8.5 out of 10.

The Reflux Remedy Report is written by
Bob Barton. This is a quality e-book that is a little shorter
and to the point. I like how it is short, but somtimes the
educational part can be usefull to understanding acid reflux
more effectivly. Overall this is good, but falls short of
competing against the others. I give it a 7.8 out of
10.
