Coming Up With an Acid Reflux Special Diet


If you suffer from acid reflux disease, one important step will be for you to come up with a severe acid reflux diet. This is important because you want to know which foods are good for you to eat and which you should be avoiding. This is important, because of course whatever you can do to avoid triggering your acid reflux symptoms, the better.

When it comes to creating an acid reflux special diet, you need to be aware of a few myths more than anything.

Milk

There is a huge myth surrounding milk when it comes to an acid reflux condition. When you are trying to create an acid reflux special diet you may think that you should include milk as a major part of it because so many people equate milk and other dairy products as being very effective at treating acid reflux but this is actually a myth and is not true at all.

A lot of people try drinking milk before going to bed because they think that this will work, when in fact often time milk will end up causing acid reflux during sleep. This is exactly what you don’t want, and so turning to milk to help with your acid reflux symptoms is really never a good idea.

Caffeine

Also when you are making your acid reflux special diet, you want to make sure that you are limiting your intake of caffeine. Caffeinated beverages are going to wreak havoc on your acid reflux condition, so you need to be aware of just how often you are drinking that cup of java or other caffeinated drink.

This is very important for any acid reflux special diet and will help ensure that your acid reflux symptoms are kept at bay.

Spicy Foods

Spicy foods, quite obviously, are going to affect your acid reflux condition, so also when creating your acid reflux special diet, limit your consumption of these foods as well. Hot sauce, Jalapeno peppers and other spicy foods need to be limited, and avoided completely if possible.

By following these easy steps and creating a diet for yourself, you will notice almost an immediate improvement in your condition and the best part of all is that you can follow this diet for the rest of your life. This is not a diet that you can only stay on for a few weeks and instead can be a lifelong change.

 Stop Acid Reflux Now is written by Kathryn Whittaker. This is another good e-book on curing your acid relfux or heartburn naturally. This e-book has slighly more of an educational style to it. This is either good or bad depending on how you want to look at it. Overall this is a good e-book, but not my favourit. I give it a 8.5 out of 10.

 The Reflux Remedy Report is written by Bob Barton. This is a quality e-book that is a little shorter and to the point. I like how it is short, but somtimes the educational part can be usefull to understanding acid reflux more effectivly. Overall this is good, but falls short of competing against the others. I give it a 7.8 out of 10.
