Acid Reflux Diet Recipe: Ideas

There is certainly no lacking in terms of options when it comes to an acid reflux diet recipe. If you are one of the millions of people out there who are suffering from acid reflux disease, it is important that you are eating the right foods and, just as importantly, avoiding certain foods.

So if you need to come up with an acid reflux diet recipe or two, here are a few great acid reflux diet recipe ideas that you will definitely want to try.

Vanilla Cherry Almond Granola

This acid reflux diet recipe is not only good for you and great for neutralizing acid in the stomach, but as well it is downright delicious. You can enjoy this granola in the morning for breakfast or throughout the day, whatever you prefer. All you need is 1 cup unsalted sunflower seeds, 1 ½ cups almonds, 1 cup ground flaxseed, 4 ½ cups uncooked old-fashioned oats, ¾ teaspoon nutmeg, ¾ teaspoon allspice, and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

You also need 5 teaspoons vanilla extract, 4 tablespoons molasses, 3 tablespoons honey, 4 tablespoons canola oil, and 2 tablespoons of apple juice, along with 2 cups of cherries if you like cherries.

Now to prepare this great acid reflux diet recipe all you do is preheat the oven to 300ºF, add the first seven ingredients to a medium roasting pan, and mix together. Then you add the vanilla, molasses, honey, and canola oil and stir together, drizzle over the dry mixture and beat together thoroughly, then bake in the pan for about 40 minutes.

Once it is cool you want to stir in the dried cherries and then you can store in an airtight container for up to a few weeks.

Pear Roquefort Spinach Salad with Glazed Pecans

This next recipe is perfect for the acid reflux special diet. You will need 10 cups raw baby spinach leaves, 4 pears cored and chopped, 3 ounces crumbled Roquefort cheese, 1 avocado peeled and pitted and diced, ½ cup thinly sliced green onions, ½ cup glazed or toasted pecans or walnuts, and 8 tablespoons bottled raspberry vinaigrette.

Now to prepare you want to get a large serving bowl and in it mix the spinach, pears, blue cheese, avocado and green onions. Then you sprinkle the pecans over top and drizzle with dressing. Now it is ready to serve. This recipe takes literally no more than five minutes to prepare, and is delicious.

Stop Acid Reflux Now is written by Kathryn Whittaker. This is another good e-book on curing your acid relfux or heartburn naturally. This e-book has slighly more of an educational style to it. This is either good or bad depending on how you want to look at it. Overall this is a good e-book, but not my favourit. I give it a 8.5 out of 10.

The Reflux Remedy Report is written by Bob Barton. This is a quality e-book that is a little shorter and to the point. I like how it is short, but somtimes the educational part can be usefull to understanding acid reflux more effectivly. Overall this is good, but falls short of competing against the others. I give it a 7.8 out of 10.
